Talkfly Offering Wholesale VoIP Services

Talkfly VoIPTalkfly, which is a well-known provider of VoIP services, is now offering carrier and wholesale services. Among some of the things they offer are:

  • SIP origination and termination
  • DID phone numbers
  • Local Number Portability
  • Origination DID coverage in over 95% of US ratecenters
  • Free testing credit
  • Configuration assistance
  • Hosted PBX

We tried Talkfly out using a BYOD PAP2NA which the technical staff at Talkfly helped us configure. We were provided some testing credit, a features and voicemail explanation sheet, and a login to a customer interface. The interface is somewhat lacking in features, but from what we understand, there are many new self-service features coming soon.

The call quality was consistent and good, we had no issues with DTMF, and have not experienced any downtime in the 6 months we have used the service. They explained that they have several wholly-owned points of presence that all have redundant fiber optic connectivity and high-availability switching clusters for maximum uptime.

We really think that these guys have the potential to do big things, they are now in the process of offering TDM over IP in certain markets soon. Basically they purchase or lease a facility in the LATA of the area they want to deploy TDM in and then have digital lines to the switch at that facility. While you may connect to them via an IP connection, the calls being originated and terminated will be over copper or fiber. An interesting way of switching it up in our opinion.

A signup link can be found at http://www.talkfly.net and once you signup, you will more than likely get an email or call from their staff welcoming you to teh service and seeing if they can assist you in getting started which was a nice thing for us.

We will continue to follow them and report back soon!

Vonage Hate Groups Speaking Truth? Yes They Are

Posted by jbalk | Uncategorized | Monday 11 August 2008 2:35 pm

we ahte vonage graphic

Vonage hate groups are rolling out across the internet. As more and more old customers of Vonage share their stories in refuge to overcome vonage raping their wallets while providing crappy services capitalize on the VoIp market with advertising.

After much dismay from reading through many review and hate sites like www.wehatevonage.com, voipreview.org i started to understand that vonage is pretty much a worthless auto pilot money taking, poor VoIP service providing cash cow that could care less about its customers.

vonage review

First off, Vonages customer service is lacking in many areas. If you call them it seems like they hired people who are just learning English or 18 year old pot smokers who didn’t make it to college looking for a pay check to get their next fix.

Second of all, their phone quality sucks and they will sell their service to anyone who is willing to give it a try with out explaining to them clearly on their page that you would be better off talking through a can on a string in order to get the service most people think that they are paying for.

Their features on the other hand are over emphasized but are available with any other VoIP company you can sign up with although their call reps are so under educated they typically seem to be brainwashed by the big Vonage into thinking no other VoIP companies exist.

To say the least there is a sucker born every second, and people are continuing to sign up with Vonage because their advertisements are plastered across the internet like a bunch of New York gang members waiting for their next victim.

Don’t believe me then, holy shit! You need to open your eyes and atleast read these Vonage holocaust victims reviews
